PRODUCT DETAILS & SPECIFICATIONS

The Catena 35 incorporates features that enable users to perform an even broader range of applications than is possible with either pouch laminators or even the Ultima 65. From ID cards through to the production of one-off Pop-Up displays, the Catena 35 can do it all. Silicone rubber rollers ensure timely clean-up Infrared heating coil distributes heat evenly and improves lamination quality.

An LCD display indicates temperature, speed and ready/wait conditions. An infrared heating coil distributes heat evenly for maximum lamination quality whilst an IR heat sensing system instantaneously detects heat variations on the roller surface, providing immediate feedback to the heating system.

An eight-bit microprocessor temperature control guarantees fast response time and a cooling fan ensures smooth, flat output that does not interfere with electrical surroundings; no buzzing, humming or flickering lights etc.

Designed for thermal or pressure sensitive film. The adjustable roller gap can handle mounting boards up to 5mm thick. The safety shield magnetically locks into place and is much easier to remove for webbing and un-webbing. The interlock switch for the shield allows the machine to meet all safety regulations.

Suitable for Educational Use

Educational laminators are chosen by us to meet the specific requirements and demands of schools, colleges, universities and other teaching establishments and feature machines which are very easy to use by inexperienced users and have unique operating instructions displayed on the front of the machine. Units are often engineered with an ultra tough metal body and heavy duty chassis, have specific anti-jam, reverse buttons, and a digital display for accurate temperature selection. Products may also automatically monitor without the need for any intervention using unique sensors that are built in that recognise the strength of the pouch and optimise the speed for perfect lamination. With no settings required, and no more studying of the instructions: all you need to know is on and off to ensure as trouble-free use as possible
