GB mainland orders are shipped free of charge for orders over £100 + vat, otherwise a fee of £5.95 + vat applies.
Most GB mainland orders are sent on the 1-3 working day Courier service (unless otherwise stated) subject to machine and stock availability and will normally be delivered to the kerbside or ground floor depending on the couriers used - please contact Don Ruffles Limited directly, prior to delivery, if further detail is required specific to your order. Please note that couriers will not normally unpackage products, or site products inside premises – for this extra delivery option service we can quote separately. If we are informed of extended delays from our suppliers we will phone or email you to offer an alternative machine. No alternative machines will be sent without your agreement.
** Extra charges may apply for orders from the North of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and all International Orders. Please go to the check out for the delivery charge to be calculated. **
Most orders placed before 10am will be despatched on the same day subject to machine availability. Any orders placed after this time may not be despatched until the following day. Please note that during busy periods orders may take an extra day to process.
All GB mainland orders will be shipped free of charge to the Ground Floor only. If you require delivery where access is via stairs or a lift then extra charges may apply. Please call us on 01293 775248 for more information.
Parcels are only despatched and delivered on weekdays so if you order an item on Friday after 10am then it will not be despatched until Monday and not delivered until Wednesday or Thursday. Occasionally due to courier delays or stock shortages parcels may take an extra day to be delivered. Where there will be a lengthy delay in despatching your order you will be contacted by phone or e-mail.
Customers placing orders from certain Scottish Post Codes such as those beginning IV and AB should allow 1-2 extra working days for delivery.
Couriers usually deliver Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 6.00pm and should post a card through the door if there is no one to sign for the parcel.
They will though usually leave the parcel with a neighbour. Please indicate if this would be okay in the special delivery instructions at the checkout.
If there is no one there to accept delivery, the courier will automatically try again the following day before returning the parcel to their local depot. You will then have 2 weeks to collect your parcel before it's returned to us. Any items returned to us will incur a re-delivery charge. This charge may vary depending on the size of the machine.
If you supply an incorrect postal code or incomplete address then there maybe a delay in despatching your parcel or delivery of your parcel may not be possible. It is not the responsibility of OfficeMachines.net to ensure that the address is correct and we accept no responsibility for the loss or delay in delivery of your parcel if the address that you supplied is incorrect or incomplete.
Damaged Parcels - PLEASE CHECK YOUR DELIVERY
It is ALWAYS best to sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or make sure you check your delivery BEFORE you sign for it as being received ok.
If you are unable to check your delivery before signing for it, sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or if the package is damaged in anyway, no matter how small, please sign for it stating DAMAGED. We CANNOT CLAIM from our carriers for any damaged items that have not been signed for as DAMAGED.
If you sign for a delivery which you find at a later date is damaged, our carriers WILL NOT accept liability and you may be charged for the damaged items if we cannot claim from the carriers, In this case a delivery charge for replacement items WILL be made.
By completing your order you agree to abide by these instructions to check your delivery and sign for it accordingly as either OK, UNCHECKED or DAMAGED. If you have signed for your goods as DAMAGED you must notify us by telephone within 7 days of the original delivery date. This communication must also be backed up in writing via recorded delivery within the same 7 days. Once we have been notified of the damaged goods, you will be given a specific reference number.
For all International orders OfficeMachines.net will e-mail you with the postage charge for the goods that you must agree to before we despatch your item. Please note that orders to the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Island and the Isle of Man all count as International orders. Orders to Northern Ireland may also incur an extra postage charge.
