RENZ Digisort Automated Product Separation (DIGISORT)

Sheets are loaded in stacks onto the rapid-exchange trolleys, up to a maximum height of 700mm. The operator then pre-selects the number of sheets (complete sets or partial layers).

Variable sheet counting throughout the stack is available as an option by means of a barcode reader (not supplied).

Mark-free suction rollers gently transport the sheets from the stack through to the delivery station where the operator can move the set into the binding line.

The RENZ Digisort features two rapid-exchange trolleys, mark-free high-speed suction rollers for separation of sheets, adjustable air blower for light-weight or statically charged sheets, ultrasonic double-sheet control, automatic tracking and alignment of the sheets, PLC and touch screen with intuitive machine operation and a pressure vacuum pump.

The RENZ Digisort sorts and feeds 30,000 sheets per hour with a speed of 150m/min.
