The Fellowes Astro A4 is a high performance; high quality A4 Guillotine is designed for multiple users in large offices with heavy duty cutting applications, up to 385mm maximum cut.
The steel cutting blade which is housed within a cast mounting block is capable of cutting paper, carton and thin plastic film accurately up to 50 sheets of paper per cycle, and the Astro has many features like an adjustable and lockable front and back stops, a fully calibrated and adjustable ruled gauge, and a permanent and clear blade guard which travels up and down with the blade, ensuring safe operation by users.
An oversized A4 cutting bed is ideal for cutting oversize sheets up to 385mm in length and the adjustable back stop which aligns sheets to the correct size makes for perfect repeat cutting, plus the adjustable and lockable front stop is perfect for cutting a known dimension from a sheet, again great for multiple repeat cuts as narrow as 1mm in width.
The Fellowes Astro Guillotine is supplied with a manual clamp mechanism where the clamp pressure can be adjusted when cutting sheets. The mechanism ensures papers remain stable during the cutting process which is very important for high capacity cutting
